Graduating from boot camp is one of the most memorable and important events for anyone who has ever served in the U.S. Navy.  It marks the successful transition from civilian to Sailor and is an opportunity for family members to show their support and pride.

Unfortunately, Recruit Gomez may not share this important career moment with his family.  Due to a financial hardship, they are unable to travel from California to RTC Great Lakes for the ceremony on June 22, 2018.

​

Because the Bluejacket Foundation is dedicated to serving our military community and their families at every stage in their career, we are working with his family right now to help them make this dream a reality. 

​

We estimate that approximately $1,000 of assistance is required for the plane tickets and hotel stays.  Please help Recruit Gomez share this special day with his family!  Use the donation button to the left to contribute directly to his campaign.
